About Me

Delphine

I am a French teacher certified by the French Ministry of Education, with more than 20 years of experience working with children, teenagers and adults.

Originally from Normandy, I have lived and worked in several countries including England, Spain, the United States and Argentina. These international experiences have given me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students learning or maintaining French while living abroad.

Over the years, I have developed a particular interest in working with bilingual children and teenagers. Many of them speak French naturally at home, but need support to develop their written expression, grammar and confidence in school.

My lessons focus on helping students build strong foundations, structure their ideas clearly and develop a natural relationship with the French language.

I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable making progress step by step.

The “crème de la crème” approach

In French, the expression “la crème de la crème” refers to the very best.

In my teaching, it reflects my goal: offering students the best possible support to help them develop confidence and clarity in French.

My lessons combine:

• clear explanations
• structured practice
• encouraging feedback
• engaging conversation
• personalised guidance

The aim is simple: helping students bring out the very best of their French.
